Pakistan Army wins international drill for 3rd consecutive year
Pakistan came in second place in the Pace Sticking Competition, which tested the quality of mixed drills. At least 16 nations competed.
"The Pakistan Armed force stands firm on a special footing concerning discipline and military drill," expressed the Regal Military Foundation Sandhurst.
Notably, in 2018, the Pakistan Army participated for the first time in International Peacekeeping Competitions.
In this one-of-a-kind annual competition, Pakistan Army has taken first place in the years 2018, 2019, and 2020, while the Pakistan Army team has taken second place in the years 2022 and 2023.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the competition was canceled in 2021.
The Pakistan Army's Havaldar Nauman won the award for best individual drill sergeant this year.
The closing ceremony was attended by five Pakistani drill sergeants in total.
The famous drill squad's performance thoroughly entertained British audiences.
